🌲 Join Us for a Site Walk at Little Deer Creek! 🌲

Come explore the beautiful forests of Banner Mountain and learn more about the ongoing Little Deer Creek Landscape Resilience Project! 🌿 This is your chance to see firsthand how we’re reducing wildfire risk, protecting vital community infrastructure, and promoting forest health through thoughtful and science-based treatments.

🌟 Two Dates to Choose From:

  • Wednesday, October 30th, 1:00 PM
  • Saturday, November 9th, 10:00 AM

📍 Meeting Location: Nevada County Sportsmen Club
Each walk will last about 1.5 hours. Please wear sturdy shoes and bring water!

What You’ll Learn:

  • How reducing forest density can protect homes and property from wildfires 🔥
  • The science behind forest and watershed health 🌲
  • What’s happening on the ground and what to expect in the coming months
